To react on this inevitable phenomenon in the proper way, all software versions for all hardware versions of this node are available on this page and downloadable.

Hardware version number 

Download only the Application Layer software you need, a Node will not start an Application Layer with the wrong Node type or the wrong hardware version number.

In the section PC software the WIN6000 program can be found to upload a Application Layer into the Node.

Filename convention

To create file names in a '8 character dot 3 character' format for DOS systems we use the following file name convention:

 

Nxxxxxxx.xxx	xNNNxxxx.xxx	xxxxNxxx.xxx	xxxxxNNN.xxx	.	xxxxxxxx.NNN
O = CANopen A = CDAL S = SDS D = DeviceNet C = Cdios	The last 3 characters of the product name 6210 = 210	The hardware version number:  n from Vn.xx	The software version number: nnn from Vn.nn	dot	extension is always BIN for binary file

• Hardware version: n in Vn.xx (after serial number on the housing)
  • File name: file name according to above convention
    • Date: dd/mm/yyyy date of release
