Evaluation board for the 6172 (type 6173)

We have designed a eurocard PCB with a mounting place for the 6172.

We have created a designers kit complete with the 6172 Micro Controller, 6173 Evaluation board and 6390 RS232 Node.

The software of the 6172 MCM is devided into two parts;

• CAN bus communication protocol for bus communication
• I/O sequencer for communication with the connected chips

The sequencer must be programmed by the user.
To help you with address tables and instructions we developed an assembler.

The next table contains Board, mounting hole and connector coordinates.
The coordinates are in mils (1000mils = 1 inch = 25.4 mm)

The board is actually 2" by 2.2" or 50.8 mm * 55.9 mm

The four connectors on your board must be 20 pin female.

We use MOLEX 87089-2016 (Farnell order No: 511-122)

The host board must have an open space for the RJ10 connectors
 

The are two mounting holes in the 6172 board.
The hole diameter is 2.5 mm
